The Secret Spa Training Academy offers ABT accredited courses designed for beginners and aspiring beauty therapists who want to build strong, industry ready skills. Training takes place within our fully operational salon, giving every learner the chance to practise in a real working environment and experience the pace, standards, and professionalism expected in today's beauty industry.
Our trainer brings over 25 years of hands on experience in the beauty sector and 10 years of teaching expertise, ensuring every technique is taught with depth, clarity, and confidence. With small, intimate group sizes, you'll receive personalised guidance, close support, and plenty of one to one attention throughout your training or workshops.

Each course is designed to equip you with the practical skills and confidence to offer professional services. All products and equipment are provided for practical sessions.
Lash & Brow Tint & Wax Course
2 days · Day 1: 10am – 1pm
This 2 day, accredited course will aim to give you all the knowledge, health and safety and best practice to be able to tint lashes and brows as well as wax brows at a professional standard. This course is perfect for the beginner but also another added skill if already working in the industry.
All products and equipment are provided for the practical training, please just bring a notepad and pens with you.
Manicure & Pedicure Course
2 days · 9am – 3pm Monday
This Manicure & Pedicure training course is covered over 2 days and is fully accredited by ABT. This is the perfect start to becoming a fully qualified nail technician and covers all the basics in anatomy, physiology, health and safety and different natural nail manicure treatments you can offer. The second day of your course will automatically be booked for the following week.
Please bring a notepad, pen and highlighter with you on your first day.
Swedish Massage Course
2 days · 9am – 3pm Monday
This Massage training course is covered over 2 days and is fully accredited by ABT. This is the perfect start to becoming a professional massage therapist and covers all the basics in anatomy, physiology, health and safety and how to adapt treatment for individual clients. On completion of your course, you will receive an insurable certificate in Swedish massage.
Gel Polish Training Course
2 days · 9am – 3pm Monday
The Secret Spa Academy's ABT‑accredited Gel Polish Course is an intensive two‑day programme taught inside a real working salon. The course covers everything from nail preparation and cuticle care to flawless gel application, safe removal, troubleshooting, product ingredients, using the right lamp and professional finish techniques. With small, intimate group sizes, you'll receive close guidance, personalised feedback, and the confidence to offer high‑quality gel polish services as a certified professional. This is the perfect way to becoming a fully qualified and insured nail technician, covering all the basics in anatomy, physiology, health and safety. The second day of your course will automatically be booked for the following week.

Nail Art Workshop
2 hours · Sunday
This 2 hour workshop is run by a fully qualified nail tech with over 25 years experience in the industry and an extensive collection of tools and polishes for you to create a masterpiece. The course covers everything from nail preparation, troubleshooting, products and tools and pricing. With small, intimate group sizes, you'll receive close guidance, personalised feedback, and the confidence to offer nail art to your services. This is the perfect way to attract new clients and to gain new skills and confidence in your nail services. The Secret Spa Academy's workshops offer expert training and a certificate for attendance.
You will need to provide a gel polish qualification before using any gel polish during this workshop. Nail polish can be used as an alternative.
